INTRODUCTION

Stromiec. The name is strange and hard to remember - the name of a small village close to Pilica. To the west runs highway nr 7, a few kilometers to the east you'll find the railway station Dobieszyn (from which you can easily get to both Warsaw and Radom). But it's all beyond Stromiec - in the village there are only local bus stops, where buses arrive rarely if ever.
Through this website we'd like to invite you to this quiet and peaceful place. Getting to know the neighbourhood, taking a walk in the forests of once enormous Puszcza Stromiecka, going to a bike trip along the Pilica valley, learning the history of these lands and looking for its traces among us - you definitely won't regret coming here.
